About Lishkee

Lishkee is an indie alt-pop project based in Brno, Czechia, comprising Viktória Šmídová and Radim Kocourek. Their music blends elements of electronica, pop, downtempo, and jazz, characterized by dreamy, intimate melodies and layered instrumental textures. They produce their songs in their little humble studio, emphasizing a DIY approach.

Under their former name Stereofox, they released the demo album 𝓛𝓪𝔂𝓮𝓻𝓼 in 2017, which was nominated for Debut of the Year at the Slovak Radio_Head Awards. In 2018, their single 𝓓𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓸𝓻𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼 reached the finals of Radio Wave’s Starter competition, leading to a performance at Slovakia’s Pohoda festival.

In 2024, they were part of a cool site-specific performance called Labyrint, for which they prepared a customized soundtrack.

In April 2025, Lishkee released an album-compilation titled 𝓒𝓸𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼 𝓸𝓯 𝓟𝓲𝓷𝓴, 𝓑𝓵𝓾𝓮, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓐𝓵𝓵 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓞𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻 𝓒𝓸𝓵𝓸𝓻𝓼, 𝓣𝓸𝓸. The sound of the album can be best described as a combination of dream pop and dark electronica.
